PSI To Sponsor the 27th Annual SIOP Conference

Burbank, CA – (April 23, 2012) – PSI, an industry-leading provider of professional testing services and talent assessment solutions, announced that they will be sponsoring the 27th Annual Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Conference to be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, in San Diego, CA on April 26-28, 2012.

For a second year, PSI is also part of an exciting new feature at SIOP: The Exhibitor Showcase Presentations. PSI will be presenting on Friday, April 27th at 4p.m. in the Exhibitor Showcase Theater. The presentation will include the launch of a new product – The Multi-Media Comprehension Test and a “Jeopardy-style” game that promises to be fun, informative and interactive. Attendees also have a chance to win an Apple IPAD gift card.

PSI Services LLC Awarded GSA Contract

Burbank, CA – (April 18, 2012) – PSI, an industry-leading provider of professional testing services, has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule Contract by the United States General Services Administration (GSA) under the 738-X Human Resources Services and Equal Employment Opportunity Services schedule. The GSA authorized Federal Supply Service contract period is March 26, 2012 through March 25, 2017.

Featuring a full array of pre-qualified, professional Human Resources (HR) service providers, Schedule 738-X addresses the full spectrum of highly demanding HR, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements and Social Services. In support of GSA’s commitment to offering green services, Schedule 738-X has developed a wide range of green solutions to assist with your sustainability efforts. Services include web-based automated recruiting, online rehabilitation and consulting services, electronically processed pre-employment screening services, HR specific training and consulting as well as planning and integrations services.

A GSA schedule is an unfunded, five-year contract listing the prices the federal government has agreed to pay for a vendor’s commercial products and services. A GSA schedule contract is an official federal contract but it is not funded and it does not have products or services to deliver immediately. Funding occurs when an order is signed by a federal agency. 

There are 62 categories of commercial products and services that vendors may apply for a GSA contract under. Known as schedules, these categories cover everything from industrial products, vehicles, computers and office products, to most categories of professional services.

GSA schedules are the favored purchasing mechanism for most federal buyers and an ideal sales and closing vehicle for vendors. Large federal contractors can have GSA schedule sales exceeding $100 million annually.
